Beyond The Classroom

Real-World Experience & Industry Exposure

INTERNSHIP

There is no better way to solidify cannabis industry knowledge than by gaining hands-on experience. As part of this course, students participate in a 4-week internship with a cannabis company. This provides valuable exposure, expands practical understanding, and opens opportunities to build a professional network in the industry.

FIELD TRIPS

To further deepen learning, the course includes three field trips. Students visit cannabis farms and operations to witness real-time industry processes. Our partners include Vitacann Pharm and Druids Garden—both SAHPRA-licensed cannabis facilities—giving students front-line insight into the operations of licensed cannabis farms in South Africa.

MAIN CAMPUS

Rivonia, Johannesburg
Our serene, modern campus—featuring a fully-equipped indoor growing facility—is just 5 minutes from Sandton City and easily accessible via the Gautrain and N1 highway. It's also within walking distance of shops and restaurants.

OUTDOOR LEARNING

For outdoor practical training, we’ve partnered with the iconic Jazzfarm, located just 25 minutes from campus. Home to Fields of Green for All and cannabis activism pioneers The Dagga Couple, this space offers students weekly hands-on learning in grow tunnels and permaculture gardens.
