Graduates will apply legal and therapeutic knowledge to support medical Cannabis patients, providing education on products, consumption methods, and compliance, while connecting patients with healthcare providers to optimise treatment outcomes.
PLANT BOTANY & INTRODUCTION TO CULTIVATION
Graduates will identify plant parts, understand genetics, and assess environmental impacts on cultivation. They will apply knowledge of chemotypes, phenotypes, and cultivation techniques to grow healthy Cannabis plants from seed to harvest, evaluating different growing methods.
CULTIVATION MANAGEMENT & TECHNIQUES
Graduates will manage various cultivation methods, select and care for tools, maintain plant health, and implement best practices for cloning, harvesting, curing, and storing, ensuring high-quality yields from seed to harvest.
COMMERCIAL CULTIVATION
Graduates will navigate South African Cannabis regulations, apply financial management to commercial operations, assess cultivation site viability, manage large-scale growing conditions, and develop sustainable production strategies.
CANNABUSINESS
Graduates will understand industry structure, legal frameworks, and licensing, develop expertise in extraction, industrial farming, and project management, identify entrepreneurial opportunities, craft marketing strategies, and create business plans for new ventures.
SUSTAINABILITY & WELLNESS
Graduates will assess soil suitability, enhance productivity, minimise environmental impact, and gain knowledge in nutrition, medicinal plants, mindfulness, and pharmacology. Practical skills include Cannabis decarboxylation and understanding future health, technology, and socio-economic trends.
SUSTAINABLE FARMING METHODS
